1. Who We Are
Domus Keep is a mobile application for Android and iOS designed to help you track home items, maintenance history, warranties, bills, and reminders — privately, on your device.

2. Data We Do Not Collect
Domus Keep does not:
- Require you to create an account or sign in.
- Transmit your items, photos, receipts, or any home data to our servers.
- Sync your data to any cloud (backups are user-initiated and saved to where you choose).
- Track your in-app behavior or usage patterns.
- Collect analytics about how you use the app.
- Sell or share your data with third parties for any purpose.
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Domus Keep stores the following data in a local database on your device:
- Home settings — home name, currency, theme, rooms, categories.
- Items — name, room, category, brand, model, serial number, purchase date, price, notes, status.
- Maintenance logs — event type, date, cost, service provider, notes.
- Warranties — provider, coverage details, start and end dates.
- Bills & Reminders — name, amount, due dates, recurrence, payment history.
- Attachments — photos and documents stored in the app's private storage. Location data (GPS) is stripped from photos before saving.
- App metadata — Remove Ads entitlement state, schema version.
This data never leaves your device unless you initiate a Backup Export, in which case you choose where the backup file goes. You can clear all app data at any time through your device's app settings or by uninstalling.
4. Network Use
Your home data is stored only on your device, never on our servers. The only times the app touches the network are:
- Remove Ads purchase & restore — handled by Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). We never see or store your payment information.
- Banner ads (free tier only) — Google AdMob serves anonymous banner ads, which requires an internet connection; without a connection the free tier shows a "no internet" screen until you reconnect or remove ads. Removing ads drops this requirement entirely, so the app runs fully offline from then on.
5. Third-Party Services
Domus Keep integrates with the following third-party services, each operating under their own privacy policies:
Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit (in-app purchases)
The Remove Ads one-time purchase is processed entirely by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Domus Keep does not process, store, or have access to your payment details.
Google AdMob (advertising · Free tier only)
Until you remove ads, the app displays banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalised ads under Google's Privacy Policy. The one-time Remove Ads purchase removes all ads permanently.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS only)
On iOS, before AdMob is initialized, Domus Keep requests ATT authorization. If you decline, non-personalized ads are served instead. This prompt only appears while ads are active; once ads are removed it is skipped entirely.
6. Permissions
Domus Keep requests the following device permissions, always on-demand and never during onboarding:
- Camera — to take photos of items and receipts. Requested the first time you tap the camera icon.
- Photo Library — to pick existing photos from your gallery. Requested the first time you tap the gallery picker.
- Notifications — to deliver bill and reminder alerts on schedule. Requested when you create your first reminder.
- Exact Alarms (Android 12+) — to ensure reminders fire at the precise scheduled time. Requested alongside notification permission with an in-app explanation.
- Internet — to validate the Remove Ads purchase and serve ads (free tier only).
You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's system settings. The core app flows (add items, log maintenance, set reminders) don't themselves require internet — but the free tier still needs a connection to pass its ads gate; removing ads drops that requirement so everything works with zero connection.
7. Photo Privacy
Photos captured or imported into Domus Keep are resized and stored in the app's private storage. Location data (GPS coordinates) and device metadata are stripped from every photo before saving. Photos are never uploaded to any server.
8. Children's Privacy
Domus Keep is a home management tool not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app and provided personal data, please contact us at domus.support@juanlobby.com.
9. Data Retention
All data is stored only on your device. Domus Keep has no ability to delete it on your behalf as we do not have access to it. To delete your data, clear the app's storage in your device settings or uninstall the app. Backup files you create are stored wherever you saved them and are your responsibility to delete.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where required by law, we will notify you within the app. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
